I liked how clean and innocent this show is (compared to other dating shows) and how thoughtful and introspective many of the characters are; however, there are definitely some improvements that I hope they implement for any subsequent seasons.
The transformations and coaching in the beginning were nice, but as another reviewer mentioned, the coaching and/or counseling should have continued - even if it was only one check-in at the midway point. It was painful to watch some of the contestants unnecessarily floundering.
The timeline should be a little longer. One week is far too short for 12 people (6 men and 6 women) to interact meaningfully with everyone else - at least in its current format. While allowing contestants to pick who they want to date initially and maybe toward the end could be fine, for people who've (allegedly) never dated before, it would be better to have everyone go on solo dates with all of their options to get a better sense of each person and to give everyone a fair chance. That would help out some of the more introverted and/or socially awkward people who might not get picked otherwise.
Only about half of the contestants were given much airtime for most of the show. The other half were barely shown (especially the latecomers). It made those contestants seem pointless.
Overall, it was interesting enough to watch and finish (although I was fast-forwarding at the end), but with a few tweaks, it could be much better.
