This episode not only showed parallels between side characters and the straw hat crew, but also had an incredible impact on how we and the one piece world views the crew. The characters in this ep are almost sort of metaphors for the viewer, because some individuals have been able to watch one piece and relate the fundamentals of the dynamics into their own lives. It's great to see a Marine love chopper and Luffy for loving hi brother, and a 15 year old girl look up to Nami because of how the world works, because as the viewers we think the same. I think this episode was phenomenal for almost all good reasons: incredible pacing, sound, and animation. This episode encapsulates the viewing experience as well as provides a different perspective on what one piece is truly about.
