Combat Wombat: Back 2 Back is the sequel to Combat Wombat. This time, the titular character has to go on an undercover mission while also taking care of a puggle and watching over a rebellious gecko.
The animation isn't much better than the first movie's. What carries the film over is the comedy, which is surprisingly effective and in some ways better than the first movie's. The film also has a recurring moral of doing "wrong things for the right reasons", which it executes relatively well.
A recommendation.

This is an animated series about a Jewish family and their tribulations. Overall it's not quite as deep as Bojack Horseman but it still hits hard occasionally. The comedy is a mixed bag, there being general jokes and jokes you can best appreciate with a Jewish background.
The family dynamic is on par, with the siblings acting the most sibling like I've seen in a recent cartoon. The parents fall a bit into the complaining Jew stereotype, but they are lively in their interactions as well.
Overall a solid recommendation.

Fixed is Genndy Tartakovsky's long time project finally given form and it differs from everything he has made prior. Vulgar beyond belief and with caricaturesque character designs, one would think this is a Kricfalusi or Bakshi production, though I suppose Tartakovsky's more fluid animation style would give it away for what it truly is.
As cited before, the animation is the best part of the movie. It's nice to see a high profile 2D animated movie in 2025. The story is alright; some jokes land, others don't. It also has a surprising amount of heart for a movie about dog sex, though that strongly depends on whereas you find the protagonist, Bull, likeable.
A recommendation, albeit perhaps one for the most strong-stomached.
