I've been a long-time fan of the Alien films, but this series feels like it belongs to a completely different universe-and not in a good way. Instead of tension, horror, and smart storytelling, it offers a watered-down, teenage drama vibe that completely strips away the essence of what made Alien iconic.
The pacing is painfully slow, the story is flat, and there's no real suspense or memorable set pieces. Everything feels juvenile and overly simplified, as if designed for a YA audience rather than fans of the franchise.
I've forced myself through every episode so far, and honestly, it's been nothing but tiring and dull. This isn't the thrilling, nerve-wracking experience I expected-it's just boring television.

I found Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning quite exhausting and lacking excitement. The movie dragged on for too long with minimal thrilling moments. The scenery, while occasionally impressive, was overall underwhelming, and the visual effects felt weak. Several times I got bored halfway through, but kept watching just to see how it ended. Overall, it felt unnecessarily stretched and failed to deliver the adrenaline-pumping action I expected.
Episode 1 was surprisingly decent. It brought back a bit of that early-season Rick and Morty energy - chaotic fun, quirky dialogue, and a hint of emotional depth. It wasn't groundbreaking, but for a moment, I felt like the old magic was still there. Then episode 2 completely lost the plot. The writing felt lazy and uninspired, with no real stakes or clever twists. The humor was flat, and the story lacked any complexity or originality. It just felt like a filler episode made with no real effort or passion. Whatever momentum episode 1 created, episode 2 immediately crushed. It's sad to see a show that once felt so smart and exciting become this dull and empty. I really hope it turns around, but right now, it just feels like a shadow of what it used to be.
