A very good entertainer but with a not-so-good story. This is one of those feel-good movies that puts a smile on your face, and that smile just widens as the movie goes on.

It's not very story-oriented, and after a point, it starts to feel repetitive. Genelia Deshmukh feels fresh to see on screen, though her character isn't anything special. Aamir Khan succeeds in adding depth and keeps us smiling throughout, making it more than just a boring movie, with the kids helping a lot, of course.

Speaking of the kids, they are absolutely fabulous. Truly no words for how good they are here.

Overall, if you're looking for a good timepass entertainer, go for it. Otherwise, there isn't much to see.

This is one of those 7/10 romance movies that deserves an extra point just for its music. The songs are placed perfectly, never feeling too many or too few, and they truly elevate the experience.

The movie follows the love lives of couples across different age groups, which becomes interesting by the end as all the couples are linked to a single family. The 2hr 45min runtime initially felt too long for a romance film, but after watching, the film actually feels rushed. It doesn't let emotions settle in before quickly switching to the next scene, which is the film's biggest flaw. Some couples get plenty of time, while the teenage couple's story feels undercooked.

Pankaj Tripathi is fabulous in his role and shines among the cast. His chemistry with Konkona Sen Sharma is chaotic and fun to watch.

Overall, a good, worth-my-time watch that I might rewatch in the future.

Thudarum is one of those movies that take their sweet time to set up the actual story. In this case, the first 1hr 10mins is spent purely on building the world and characters, and the actual story only starts just before the interval with an expected but unconfirmed plot twist.

This expected plot twist then makes the entire movie quite predictable just a few minutes into the second half, and you can easily guess where the story will go. The movie taking 1hr 10mins just to set up the story felt very boring and lengthy at first, making it feel like it was dragging unnecessarily.

However, the ending of the second half makes it totally worth sitting through. The payoff is satisfying, and it feels like the movie's slow burn was intentional to make the conclusion more impactful.

The acting performances are very good, and the actors have been perfectly cast for their roles, making even the slow parts engaging enough to watch. They bring emotional weight to the story and help the audience connect with the characters.

Overall, Thudarum is a good watch. It is an above-average movie but a good entertainer if you have the patience to sit through a slow first half for a rewarding ending.
