This show is considerably better than its low ratings suggest. The title does not even imply that, but to repeat what is explained in the first episode: it does not advocate for divorce, quite the opposite. Its focus is a lighthearted, occasionally silly approach to a serious and perhaps somewhat uncomfortable issue. Watch at least the first two episodes, you may find that it is an entertaining rom-com (it is not an insurance documentary), smartly written, nicely directed, superbly shot and staged, as well as finely acted by all. It moves at a measured pace that shows how the characters and their relationships develop, with an ultimately optimistic outlook. - There are "sleeper" films and shows that over time find recognition and viewers they did not get when first published; hopefully, this will be the case here.
Premise sounds good, but the execution lacks, show disappoints. Looks slick but does not click. Reminded me of "Black Knight". Might work better as a movie. Actors are good and I suppose tried their best, but there is only so much that can be done. Even for an action oriented show there was lots of pointless screaming and silly gratuitous fighting.
Accept the silliness of the show and you may find it quite entertaining. That said, even with suspending disbelief I found several scenes and situations somewhat irritating, for example when by episode 10 he does come off as a complete idiot relative to his (and her) emotions. I get it, there are more episodes to cover and thus they can't get together too soon, but nonetheless. Made it challenging to root for him for a while. Also, the last two episodes and the ending fizzled out a bit. The delaying detour until the final meeting seemed too long and draggy.
Acting was strong throughout even though I do not much care for exaggerated approaches such as from the assistant prosecutor, although on the other hand I liked the heroine's "sister's" performance.
