Regarding performances, Kangana Ranaut's attempt to mimic Indira Gandhi is notably weak. The portrayal lacks depth; instead of capturing the essence of the historical figure, it comes off as a superficial imitation. Her expressions and mannerisms, intended to echo Gandhi's, do not resonate authentically, which is particularly disappointing given the significant role she plays in the film.

Pacing is another significant issue. Crucial moments in the narrative are rushed, while less important scenes are unnecessarily dragged out, skewing the film's rhythm and making it hard to engage with the storyline. The script seems to struggle with maintaining a balance that would keep viewers invested.

The climax, which should have been a pivotal moment, ends up feeling chaotic and rushed, not delivering the dramatic payoff one would expect from such a historical drama.

In conclusion, "Emergency" is a disappointing watch, especially considering the potential of its subject matter. The film fails to capitalize on its rich historical context, leading to a narrative that feels both fragmented and unconvincing. For those interested in the political drama of Indira Gandhi's era, this film unfortunately misses the mark in storytelling, performance, and technical execution.

In the last episode he fight with an iron rod in his chest and he removed the rod inside the water and still survives, and the villan, villan have more skills then police means sooo sooo above then police, and everytime the hero seems to be trusted and never point out his gun, and villan get hit by rod several times and then get unconscious but hero with even rod doesn't, soo acting wise its good but action can be more better. The character build up was good and each episode make some excitement to viewer, this series shows alot and gives a good message too. But action was really messed but i hope they work on it next time.
