The biggest problem with the episode was the pacing. It felt like it was dragging on for way too long, and there was a lot of unnecessary filler.
Here are the few points:
I hope that the next few episodes of One Piece are better than ep 1070. The series has been on a downward trend for a while now, and it needs to pick up the pace if it wants to keep its audience engaged.
Here are the few points:
- The pacing was very slow. The episode was over 20 minutes long, but it felt like it was twice that. There was a lot of unnecessary filler.
- The animation was subpar. There were many reused frames, and the choreography of the fight scenes was poor.
- The fight scenes were underwhelming. He just kept getting punched around, and there was no sense of danger or excitement.

One Piece ep 1071 Luffy's Peak was a major disappointment. The episode was supposed to be a celebration of Luffy's new power, Gear 5, but it ended up being a letdown.
The animation was bad, the story was weak, and the ending was anticlimactic. I hope that the next episode is better, because this one was just not really cut it for me.
I know that I'm in the minority with this opinion, and many One Piece fans are loving Gear 5. But I just can't get over the animation style and the story. I hope that the series can find a way to improve the animation and the story without making Luffy seem too overpowered.

I've been a fan of One Piece for over 20 years, and I've always been impressed by the series' creativity and its ability to constantly surprise me. However, I was very disappointed with the recent introduction of Gear 5.
The biggest problem with Gear 5 is the animation style. It's a jarring departure from the rest of the series, and it looks more like something from a Looney Tunes cartoon than a serious shonen anime. The rubber hose style is just too out of place in One Piece, and it makes the whole thing look silly.
The other problem with Gear 5 is the power creep. Luffy has already gotten so many power ups over the years, and it's starting to get ridiculous. Gear 5 is just too overpowered, and it makes it hard to believe that any villain could ever challenge him.
