I just saw this film and I believe it is a very well-made film for the most part, the story is of an Indian woman who was unfortunately trapped in Mosul, Iraq during the ISIS takeover and the film deals with how the woman, played amazingly well by Nushrat Barucha, deals with the situation she is stuck in. The entire focus of the movie is Nushrat, she carries the film completely on her petite back and is a perfect cast for the role, her amazing acting skills shows how she feels shock, fear , is vulnerable, helpless and is at odds with such a terrifying predicament. The movie is for the most part at a good pace, slowing only in the beginning with some lackluster music , the characterization is very good, the actors chosen to be militants is very authentic and real, and the dialogues are absolutely real, requiring translation in a few places which the subtitles show. The movie is only 2 hours long and is not a slog and the main antagonist is the Israeli actor from the famous series Fauda, Tsahi Halevi, who does an amazing job. The main friend of the protagonist is Nishant Dahiya, who does a great job at portraying emotions through his character of Rafiq. The movie is on an important topic as well, a real life story and goes to show how terrifying life can be for human beings in such conflict ridden areas and the sadness about how cheap human life can be for fellow humans driven by dangerous politics and ideology. All in all, Akelii is a good film and is carried by an absolutely terrific acting performance by Nushrat Barucha and is a well made film on a sad but true aspect of human society.

DREAM GIRL 2 VERDICT - Overall, paisa vasool entertaining comedy, 3.5/5, 8/10 ( on a scale where welcome and golmaal are 10/10 ) Brilliant acting by Ayushmann Khurrana , just brilliant, one of the best renditions of a female character Most jokes are landing, comedy is much much better than Bhool Bhualiaya 2 Just need to switch your brain off and not look for logic everywhere, but most jokes are landing First Half is better than Second Half, There is a dip in some of the comedy sequences in second half Biggest negative is that the plot motivations of Abhishek Banerjee are not easily understandable or explored that much Comic performances by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh ,most of them OG legends of comedy is very good, Raaj Shandilya has good comic dialogues for most of the time in the film.

Ananya Pandey is only present in 20% of the movie , more of a special guest appearance than a main character in the plot.

A very worthy film to lead the OTT most streamed movies in India at the number 1 spot , I had the pleasure of being able to see Bloody Daddy and Trial Period at their worldwide digital premieres for free at JioCinema thanks to their strategy of giving us such good content for absolutely no cost and registration. Bloody Daddy is a very good action thriller that does not bore you for even a moment and contains some interesting twists and an engaging screenplay and is led by some great acting performances from everyone involved. Shahid Kapoor does a wonderful job as the lead character, Diana Penty makes for an interesting honest woman cop, Rajeev Khandelwal puts in a stellar acting performance in his role as a police officer too and Ronit Roy makes for an interesting, captivating antagonist. The fight scenes are realistic and are not over the top in the slightest , the protagonist is not shown as an undefeatable superhuman but fights in a very realistic fashion , employing a good use of the surroundings and objects in the environment. The plot does a decent job of showing the extents a father can and will go to for his son and all in all this is an interesting watch , especially for free. My only major problem with this film is that some of the fight scenes could be grander, especially the climax fight scene as the trailer promised a bit more which we could have hoped to see. Since the movie is a remake of a french movie, I will deduct another point as it is not an original movie.
