Wonderful performances from all the cast, great staging and effects, they did really well at translating the movie to the stage.
I loved all the songs, the new songs fit in really well and were great fun to watch. I was very impressed with the performances of the young actors who played young Elsa and Anna. It was also good to have a mixture of close up and wide shots from different angles, which you wouldn't get if you saw it in the theatre.
As someone who loved the original movie, I thought they captured the essence really well while adding extra characterisation and moments which are fun to watch and build the story and the world.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought they did a brilliant job.

I loved seeing the three leads come together. I rewatched Ms Marvel in preparation and loved it and really enjoyed seeing Kamala Khan interact with the others (Iman Vellani is brilliant, so are the others). I think you can still see this and enjoy it without having seen Ms Marvel, or WandaVision.
This was its own story but had a couple of brief but fun cameos linking it to the wider MCU.
I enjoyed the humour and the action, it was great to see Kamala's family, but my favourite part was the interaction between the 3 leads and their dynamic. It also touched on the fact that even though some people idolise Captain Marvel, she's not perfect.
Another thing I want to highlight is one of the planets they go to - it really feels like the culture is unique and well thought-out (along with their unique language style). Often films where they go to different planets, the planet feels just like earth but the people have purple skin or something, whereas this really felt like a different culture.
My main criticism is that a couple of bits near the end weren't explained fully leaving me slightly confused, and also that I would have liked the film to be longer and to see more of the characters. But apart from that I really enjoyed it!
Oh, and the mid-credits scene made me feel very excited for what's to come next!

I went into this film not expecting much, just a bit of fun, and I'm also generally not into horror films. However, I was surprised at how well the main characters were written and that they were each given a backstory with compelling motivations and personalities. It wasn't completely perfect, at times Danny seemed like a bit of a charicature of a geek, but even then that wasn't overdone too much. And Mike wasn't given quite as much spotlight as the others, but the other 4 characters I thought were written and acted very well.
I also enjoyed the creative puzzles and how they solved them, having done a few escape rooms before I could see the puzzles are similar to an actual escape room (although the stakes are a bit more extreme in this case!)
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this and now I want to see the second one!
