I love their chemistry since I've seen Chasing the Wind and this show takes it to another level. Flashback scenes are my favorite, GUNES is my favorite, I can't wait to get to *that* scene they hinted at the beginning. The atmosphere, cast and cinematography is great as well. Although I find Deniz annoying at times, I think he's a good representation of most modern day men. It makes it realistic to see him be an idiot but frustrating at the same time. I hope he'll deserve Gunes in the end. Another thing I like is the friendship of girls & Gunes, they are sooo funny and natural. They reflect their real-life friendship with comedic dialogues.
Halka is still a memorable work of fiction with its incredible cinematography, cast and director. I wish there were more seasons to it because the story deserved to be told. I would love to discover Hande Erçel's Müjde more as well as the background of other characters. Each character that has ever seen on screen had a different flavor. Çagatay, Kaan, Cihangir, Iskender, Hümeyra, Bahar and more... I will forever miss Halka. Thanks everyone involved in the making for this amazing show. Hande Erçel continues to be in different and high quality shows like Bambaska Biri now. I will be following other cast members as well.
I can't believe we are watching an accurately told multiple personality disorder story on Turkish TV. The scenario, dialogues, actors (especially Hande Erçel as Public Prosecutor Leyla and Burak Deniz as both Kenan and Dogan) are brilliant. It is certainly the best Turkish TV show of this season. The angst, action and the depth of the characters are unbelievable. Ethem Özisik once again showed how good a writer he is. Neslihan Yesilyurt as director is also a great fit for the series. I hope it will last at least 30 episodes because this story deserves to be told. Well done everyone involved in the making!
