Could have been the greatest show of all time, but the frustrating conclusion stops it from going there. Seasons 1-4 were amazing- seasons 5-7 were great, began showing signs of a mediocre end, which season 8 had. Even though the ending was disappointing, there are many great things to talk about, the peaks of the show. Everything from acting, to cinematography, to special effects, to writing were fantastic. But some of the things that truly made Game of Thrones special, is the slow pace, where you have multiple episodes of traveling to get somewhere. It was the little details that you didn't think meant much, that were crucial to the story, rewarding people who paid close attention. It was the world building, the character depth, the bunch of interesting different storylines happening at once! All of these things makes this one of the best shows ever, mediocre ending or not.
This is a perfect addition to the Breaking Bad universe, and possibly one of the best things in TV history. Every season is amazing, though some are better than others. Season 6 and 5 are both perfect. A lot of people complain about the pacing, but i think the pacing is great in every season. The plot is great, and it feels like they already knew how the show would end, when they started. Although Breaking Bad has expertly perfects stuff like this, i would argue that the writing and cinematography in Better Call Saul is way better. They involve new aspects that feel so fresh. It feels great to see more of characters we've seen, like Jimmy, Mike and Gus, but we also get introduced to amazing new characters like Kim, Lalo and Howard. In my opinion, this is not just the greatest spinoff ever, it is also one of the best shows ever.
Easily the best Star Wars show, both seasons included. It is something Disney should hang up on their office wall, in a golden frame. They should use it as an example, that all future Star Wars projects should meet in terms of quality. The slow pacing was definitely worth it. There were some episodes where there didn't really happen anything, but we got useful information, that sat up future moments. Everything led to the amazing last half of season 2, which is some of the best Star Wars content. The ending was amazing, and perfectly fit into Rogue One (which perfectly fit into A New Hope). I would've given the show an 8/10, but Season 2 made it a 9/10. Disney, please learn from this show.
