Season 1 was pretty much perfect. The story was very well told, the characters were great, the writing was top notch, and the animation was incredible too. It also had a peak villain with Silco. After that, I was very excited for season 2, but it ended up being disappointing overall. The writing is way, way less good than the first season was, the pacing was way too fast, it left no room for character growth. Also, some of the scenes that could have been meaningful just came out of nowhere. The visuals and music were great, and the finale was wild, although the ending wasn't very satisfying. If there were more episodes and a better team of writers, they could have explored the characters as well as explaining the more out there elements of the second season, but overall it was a disappointment. The first season is a 10/10, and the second season is a 6/10, which averages to an 8. This show could have been perfect if they stuck to what made the first season great, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Still the best show on Netflix though.

This game is one of the most fun games of the 2020s, it has a fun story, great rhythm gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master, a quirky and fun cast of characters. I also have the highest praise for the art style, which is one of the most unique I have ever seen. The level design was a bit repetitive, and it's a little short, the other aspects are so strong that is doesn't matter. This is the Xbox Series' best game, even though I played it on PlayStation, but Xbox did what every stupid person would do and shut down Tango Gameworks, who was a solid development studio that made good games, Ghostwire Tokyo excluded, but they were headed in an interesting direction with Hi Fi Rush, but Xbox ruined that with their poor management and business decisions. Good luck selling consoles after this!

So far, the 2020s have been a drought of truly incredible films, but every year, an absolute masterpiece comes out, last year it was Oppenheimer, this year it is Dune Part Two, which is another film by a truly revolutionary modern director, which feels like a true blockbuster. I have read the book, and it is my favorite of all time, and this film really captures the essence of the source material while improving it in some aspects. This film has no flaws that I recognize, with incredible visual effects and phenomenal cinematography from Greig Fraser. It also has a great soundtrack from Hans Zimmer, and incredible sound. This film's narrative is epic, while also being grounded in its character development, and immersing you in its incredible universe. This film also has great performances from a talented cast, including career best work from Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler, and an entertaining performance from Javier Bardem. The character of Chani has really evolved from the source material, she is more independent, which changed the story, making it more nuanced, despite the original book being my favorite book. The story's pacing is pitch perfect, this was an incredibly fast three hours, and it stays true to the original story's themes and overall plot. But, despite it being three hours, it leaves an absolutely massive amount of stuff out, like the first one, so I would very much like to see an extended edition 5 or 10 years after the trilogy is finished. If you haven't watched it, you absolutely should.
