The 90s were the best era for movies in my opinion and this felt like it would fit into that era perfectly. The only thing missing was the cheesy lines so it made it a really good watch. I enjoyed it and both my kids enjoyed it which means they got the balance just right. It was fast paced with no boring scenes that dragged on. If you like action movies that get straight to the point without any pointless filler scenes this is definitely a movie to watch. I don't get some of the negative reviews on this. What else are people expecting from the karate kid franchise? I would easily watch this again. I think this will be remembered as much as Cobra Kai.

I watched this thinking it will be rubbish because of the low ratings. It's nowhere near as bad as the reviews say. It was more entertaining than the Irishman, which was really boring. The acting was good and some scenes were very entertaining with the sharp dialogue. You kind of feel bad for Deniro getting these negative reactions when he did a really good job playing two characters convincingly. Yeah it won't be the best mob movie you will watch but definitely doesn't deserve the negative ratings here. If you like mob history of this era you would be mad to miss this and stupid to be easily influenced by Deniro haters.

My friend and I went to watch this as it was clearly the most popular movie to be released that week and had long queues which I haven't seen for a while at a cinema.

What a complete waste of time! The jokes were so lame (probably laughed once during the whole movie) and the whole storyline was so stupid. Is this what people really consider entertainment now??

I have learned one valuable lesson from this movie - Don't look at reviews as a guide for choosing movies! A large population of online morons clearly don't have the slightest clue what a good movie really is. It seems we are guided by nerds that have never left their bedroom or people that have never seen good quality movies and don't understand what constitutes a great script.

People's standards of a good movie are now so low that it is killing off the movie industry. Why the hell are people happy with watching garbage and brainwashing others in thinking movies such as this are something special?

If you value real talent and believe movies should have a high standard please don't make the mistake of falling for the high ratings on this one. It was pure garbage!
