As this is a regular K-drama, except for the musical and animation inlays in the beginning. And they are the things I disliked most about the show, but luckily they were not used in the later episodes.
Yes, the show is about fertility and the directness first rubbed me the wrong way, thinking Kdramas went Hollywood. But they not only found their way back, I was also pleasantly surprised by LMH, who really improved his acting.
The passion of scientists may be a bit exaggerated and I don't know about the accuracy of space and zero gravity issues, but a number of them were very plausible. Also the length people with fertility issues are willing to go and their desperation was well depicted.
The romance was good, I liked their chemistry and their struggles felt very realistic.
After a bumpy start and useless comedic inserts, I enjoyed the show and the appreciation of all life forms (here in space we're all the same), the ending was soft and plausible, considering the MLs mindset and therefore choices, though it won't satisfy those looking for a "happily ever after".
There is solid acting in an unusual setting with a less common, but nevertheless actually researched and for some people painful life topic. Well done 👏

..an even longer.
The story is set in the 80s, when the government loosened its restrictions by promoting sex, screen and sports in order to distract from its wrongdoing. In 1982 the first Korean erotic movie was published and this series is loosely based in it, showcasing bits of industry politics, but focusing more on the misogynist behaviour actresses had to endure (and probably still have to a certain extent).
Thus the tone is clearly sexistic, depreciating, slimy and rude but balanced with humorous notes. The colours, dresses and setting give a lovely 80s groove. The acting is great, kudos to Lee Hanee as the top star wanting to get out of nudity (she really carries the series), to newbie actress Bang Hyorin. But also to the bad ass guys taking me bak in time and giving me creeps, wanting to hit or puke. They embodied their roles really well.
The series is neither a documentary nor a comedy. By using the lighter, fictional approach, it hints at some real issues that could be further explored.
For my taste the important relationship between the women could've gotten more screen time, the cgi scene in the last episode was a bit too much. The ending is not too satisfying, but suits the movie, as the issues still went on.
Great watch!

Honestly, if you up for an entertaining movie, choose something else.
The story of the lawyer and his wife might deserve accolades for it's honest and frank depiction of a not so rare frustrating everyday life. It does it that well you want to scream and escape. A marriage with lost connection, sexual frustration, emptiness... The husband has affairs but seems incapable to perform well, leaves his wife alone with all the care tasks and in sexual desert.
Despite nudity there is no real connection, no sensuality, romance, excitement or comedy, except for the teenager's part maybe, like an injection of fresh blood that may or not bring the desired change, as he is not yet jaded and a reminder of our own youth, when we swore we'd never become like this.
As the movie depicts the daily drama that well, it conveys boredom, lack of interest, dullness. Definitely no rewatch for me.
