The most important thing about this documentary is that Matt Walsh lets the people he interviews talk. Very little of this film is Walsh speaking. That is worth something. You can actually understand the arguments people are making and consider what you think.
Now, where I think this could have been better is because Walsh has an agenda, he is overly-antagonistic. I get that everyone has an agenda, but if he would have kept the tongue-in-cheek stuff down and stuck to letting people talk about an issue that is interesting on its own, it would have been more palatable.
Still, there is not another documentary out there like this, and maybe there never can be as many might be afraid to be so candid on interviews in the future.

The movie has a decent script and decent acting. Being a production by a news commentator company, I was prepared for something really, really bad. However, the production value is surprisingly good. For instance, the cinematography, color grading, and sound is what you would expect from a Hollywood flick. This is not like a bunch of high schoolers making a movie with a Digital 8 camcorder.
As for the quality of content and laughs, Lady Ballers is higher than The Pest and lower than Deuce Bigalow (how's that for a scale?).
Now, the reason this film gets a 7 from me instead of a 5 is because I can clearly tell what they were doing in terms of making the movie-They were making a movie for themselves and subscribers, not the general public. The movie really could have stood on its own if it did not have overly-long beginning credits, a Jeremy's products commercial in the middle, and add cameos that added nothing to the story itself (Ted Cruz... wow... yay...?).
If they would have ran a test screening of the final cut to a couple of focus groups, they could have chopped a lot out and ended up with a really funny movie.
So, from a general audience score, it's about a 5-6. But, as a subscriber myself, I did enjoy all the intangibles, such as seeing Matt Walsh hug people.
