Ignore the naysayers completely.
This was hilariously fluffy all the way, while the tyrannical psychotic little kid delivered in Spades.
Sweet as apple pie on the outside...and an utterly rotten apple inside.
This was well plotted and paced and the shocks and hits just keep coming one after another, and those on the naive clueless delivery end step into it all very nicely so to speak for this kind of film.
Think of a Chucky in the flesh who is cuter, funnier, far more charming...and who is certainly as self-centered and chillingly ruthless. Again, ignore the naysayers... If you like these kind of films, then this is one you'll certainly remember.

In Spades... Absolutely navigates the world through the eyes of a young boy with a dysfunctional combative family with real world problems. So an uneasy backdrop to be sure, but yet this film dances along with sweetness and light and an undercurrent of care that shines through to the end.
