I understand the appeal of the show, with Groot being a likable and fun character, helped by the fact that Groot is a baby and he works well in a shorts format. However, what was the reason to make the show? I did find some of the moments in the show funny, but I don't see why we needed 2 seasons of Baby Groot just being himself, getting himself into situations. However for kids I can see the appeal and it has its fun moments. However, don't go into the show expecting it to be anything that good, because you will likely be left disappointed and annoyed. Seems that it was put on Disney Plus as a cash grab rather than a genuine attempt to make a good quality show, but all the hate aside, it was fun at points, but nothing more.

Hawkeye is the epitome of what Marvel shows should be like. There is no storyline changing, world-ending threats and the story is relatively low stakes. The show wasn't very anticipated before its release, with many people opting to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home instead or just skipping the show altogether. However, the show is funny, has an interesting story and introduces new characters without sidelining the old ones. The cast is also excellent, with Hailee Steinfeld, Florence Pugh and Jeremy Renner standing out. The story perfectly mixes new characters such a Hailee Steinfeld's, without ruining the legacy of Jeremy Renner's. However Kingpin was botched in the finale. Overall, Hawkeye is a fun show, with it not being too over the top, and is what all Marvel shows should strive to be!
