J. A Bayona delivers us a masterpiece without a doubt! This movie really made you rethink again your morality and choices if we were in the same situation like them. We can't help but ask ourself "Would I do it if I was there?". Disturbing but well done not like in a trashy way but an understandable way. It could have been very repetitive and boring due to the restricted localisation but somehow maintain the viewer's attention. "La sociedad de la nieve" really made justice of the real life event like no previews movies did. It was really poignant thanks to how they portrayed the characters and of how each of them have their own personality and story. This is truly a painful and breathtaking tragedy that seems unreal and unimaginable but that actually really happened. Our heart is being crushed from the crash to the gathering especially in the avalanche scene which was really intense.

I would like to applaud and congratulate the crew for theses wonderful and powerful shoots, and to recreate the astounding, hostileness and hardness of this localisation.

But also the actors who lose weight to play their roles realistically.

This is what we call a survival drama movie.

Let me get this clear, this movie is really a great movie from a perspective of color, shot and just aesthetic but come on it is really lacking of structure in the narrative way. We don't and cannot really connect with the protagonists. I find the female characters are just here to be pretty and not really to be independent characters of the story but just to be a part of the male characters life so yeah it's a shame and disappointing. On the contrario, i really like the story of the character that cannot speak though. At first I through that i will liked the movie, which in a certain way i did, but for the 2 criminal characters life it really lack of writing so way a bit disappointing.
