Without spoilers: This show is about a woman named Nelly and her terrifying suspicions about her husband's best friend grooming her husband's son who's barely 9 years old. Bold is one word to describe it. Because as someone who has watched countless of American and otherwise foreign dramas I have never seen a show go this far, because what this show did was scare the crap out of me because this is not something to take lightly at all. KIDS?? But the truth is there really are sick people like that in the world, and this show describes in detail the affects something like this has both on children and adults who have grown up not even realising they were groomed.

Is this show worth your time? Absolutely, I think everyone should watch this show atleast once whether you're a parent or a child or neither.

So far this show is amazing, it's gritty, it's emotional, and it has me on the edge of my seat. During the trial in the third episode I genuinely had no idea what the verdict would be. And most importantly, the plot is great, and the dialogue is never boring.

HOWEVER: as great as this show is, the less than decent reviews and criticism articles are endless. Why?

If you're a person who dislikes this show, ask yourself: why? Is it because this show doesn't have the same *vibe* as the original? Is it because the original show had more natural fight scenes? Is it because it because there's not enough nostalgia to the original? Is it because it's not comic accurate enough to the mayor fisk plot? Is it because they used patchy CGI that one time in the first 4 minutes? Or is it because this show wasn't made by Netflix?

People need to understand that this is not a season 4, even tho it is plot wise-it's just a continuation made 10 years later by a different company. What happened in the first episode was shocking (No spoiler) and I get why a lot of fans would be rather angry, but if we're being objective: didn't this help develop the plot? Characters are never gonna be the same, camera work won't be the same, you are NOT watching the original version; but that doesn't make this version a cheap imitation of it.

If you ask me, this show holds up pretty well for its predecessor

so if you're a person who dislikes this show, ask yourself this: Why? Is it because you're not watching the 2015 daredevil?

Edit: Last episode releasing in 3 days and this show has me on the edge of my seat! Literally addicted and I'm glad I didn't decide to watch this after it finished airing because I would have finished it in 1 day.
