Wow.
The movie is about a man who has allegedly set 3 bombs in 3 American cities. He gets sent to military interrogation where the FBI take over investigation. And they find this...insane man who kind of takes over the investigation as well, except he uses torture as his interrogation method....it is a crazy movie. Unexpected.
The acting is absolutely on point. Samuel L. Jackson is scary, as always, in a very good way. All performances make it very believable.
As for the entertainment, it is super entertaining. Incredibly intense, and easily one of the scariest non-horror movies I have ever seen. It is fast-paced but not quite too fast-paced. It is definitely an unhinged movie that can be hard to stomach at times. But it is very worth it.
And for the emotional scenes, there are definitely some moments that can get you. There are some really dark scenes that evoke so many thoughts and feelings, which is part of what makes it so intense.
The cinematography is not too bad, not the best visual quality, and it is not a case where it shouldn't be good visual quality, it is a 2010 movie. But the audio, the soundtrack and the shots are still not too bad. And nothing that should impact the enjoyment that much.
For the realism, of course this is very unlikely to happen in real life, but there are definitely some "crazies" that exist. There is nothing exclusively unrealistic with this movie. Except maybe a minor goof or two that I did not notice. Every movie has goofs.
And finally, it has an ending that will leave you asking some questions. I can't really tell if it was a happy ending or not. But it was pretty insane. I am glad it ended the way it did.
Conclusion: Plot: 9.0/10 Acting: 10/10 Entertainment level: 10/10 Emotional impact: 8.6/10 Cinematography: 7.1/10 Realism: 8.5/10 Ending: 9.3/10
Final rating: 89.2%

It's been a while, let me review Good Will Hunting.
Plot: A classic, Will Hunting, an incredibly intelligent janitor at a university solves a problem that Gerry Lambeau (a math professor at MIT) put on a board in the hallway for his students to figure out, after days of attempting to figure out who did it, Lambeau finds that Will Hunting did it. The thing is, Hunting seems to be going through a little trouble in his life, he is lost, he goes to jail for assault, and Lambeau bails him out if he does sessions with him once per week, and if he does therapy once per week, Hunting does not like the therapy part, which introduces us to Sean. Sean is a troubled therapist who lost his wife, and tries to guide Hunting back to happiness, Will also finds the love of his life, but there seems to be some trouble with that too (without spoilers). It truly is a genius and complex plot.
Acting: It all seems so genuine, Matt Damon (who plays Will) plays an incredible performance and Robert Williams as Sean does as well, you can really feel the pain and hidden desperation in Will.
Entertainment level: It is a very emotional movie first, but it definitely is entertaining. It is a movie you watch for fun rather than to learn like other biopics (I know this isn't a biopic by the way). Watching the boys together is definitely comical.
Emotional impact: But this movie is primarily incredible for its emotional impact. It is truly a sad movie to watch, but towards the end, you start to feel better. During the movie, it is infuriating to see Will hide his pain. And towards the end is one of the saddest scenes in my opinion, of movie history (I won't give spoilers, but the title of this review has to do with that scene.
Cinematography: Definitely the weakest aspect of the movie, it is important to remember that this is a 90's movie, so the quality definitely won't be perfect, the audio isn't either. But, I have to say that the meaning behind it definitely is incredible. I am not a cinematographer, so I can't explain it. But as a review for this, I say that the meaning behind the cinematography is great. The color tone is also good.
Ending: I loved the ending to this movie. More of an ambiguous ending, and it was great. Again, I can't say much without spoilers, but it was a happy ending that made you feel good.
Characters: The development is insanely well-written. The slow but obvious evidence of evolution in Will, incredible. Not many other characters have much development, but all other characters are insanely well-written as characters. And serve their purpose.
Realism: Finally, the realism, and it is not implausible in the slightest, I couldn't find any plot holes, I couldn't find any significant continuity errors, and for minor goofs that are insignificant, just look in goofs if you want the movie to be ruined for you.
Conclusion: Plot: 9.6/10 Acting: 9.5/10 Entertainment level: 8.6/10 Emotional impact: 9.5/10 Ending: 8.8/10 Characters: 8.4/10 Cinematography: 8.3/10 Realism: 9.8/10
Final rating: 90.75%

All right. Now I am writing this review having already seen the show 3 times.
Season 1: A short season. And I find it an underrated season. Yes, it focuses much more on the dark comedy aspect. But I don't find that a bad thing. The show gets progressively darker as it goes and it started with dark comedy. And good dark comedy also. The comedy is very effective. The best episode in season 1 (which is very hard to pick in this show) is probably "Crazy Handful of Nothin'" by a smidge? I just really liked the classic "This is not meth" scene. I love the story of breaking bad and how it shows the obvious evolution of Walter White. Who in this season is new to all of this. The worst episode? Pfft....ok.....I guess the pilot because.....it's the pilot? I love the pilot and there is nothing wrong with it. But, ok, I guess the pilot is the worst. Even if it beats every other show in this episode alone.
(I will review season 2 when I rewatch it)
