The show is very entertaining and easy to binge watch. Nathan Fielder does a great job of creating a sense of safety for the show's participants as he encourages them to do things that make them look like idiots on international television.
In this episode he convinces a couple to have a very complicated relationship discussion on camera while they are pretending to fly a plane. Fielder directly misleads the woman into believing that her boyfriend just wants to chat with her about her customer interactions on her job. But he tells the boyfriend that she has agreed to talk about a specific customer who has been buying his girlfriend presents.
Thus, the host his directly mislead the couple into having this potentially relationship-destroying conversation on international television all for the sake of his own ratings. Despicable. Dishonest. Abuse of power in a show that pretends to be confronting abuse of power.

The show does a great job of keeping the pace up. They start off with 1000 people so there's a bunch of games they can do with a huge group, but as more people get eliminated then it opens up a bunch of other types.
They really change up the variety frequently and it's edited well to not drag. I fully expected this to be stupid and then watched all the current episodes without getting bored. It's not really about the money, that's just your standard game show thing.
Anyone who complains about it in comparison to Squid Game is being silly. It's just a fun show that gives away a bunch of money, there's nothing violent or edgy about it. Entirely suitable for kids, unlike Squid Game.

Most shows now have so much filler content and are filled with the same very average cast of mediocre actors. Redmayne's face and acting is SO sincere and emotionally accessible that you actually find yourself wanting him to succeed. That's not a spoiler. He's clearly the villain as the hired assassin, but he also has a wife and family. So the levels of connection that form between the audience and the extremely likable villain are complicated. When you add in the unpredictable plot (always a hallmark of a great show that you can't predict the entire plot from the first episode) then it really keeps you engaged from start to finish. I've never wanted a hired assassin to succeed so much before! XD.
