This is a solid comic series. I would love to see it having season 2. It wasn't THAT good in the first half of the show because the audience are still seeing the parents who are annoying and unlikable. Most parents' characters are superficial and single-layered particularly in episode 1 and 2. However, the magic of the show is it brings the audience into the kids' perspective. From the second half of the show, you start to realize the show is not to seriously talk about how football parents parent, but joyfully talk about how football kids are being kids despite the dysfunctional parents. It has a warm and fairytale-like ending. You want to know what will happen to the team next. Also Ilse Warringa contributed incredibly fun screenplay!!
So please do not let haters stop you producing season 2. It is fun to watch! We should be more like kids than parents.

Please launch season 2!! Season 1 presents a thrilling and dark story about humanity. The Scottish sarcasm was right at the heart of that humanity: cynicism and resistance.
The show is a hit because of its tight pace. There was no single moment when I feel it's dragged and dull. The show stages a pretty mundane opening where policemen enter an apartment investigating a bloody murder. However, when I thought-here you go, they're gonna solve it-the plot like a roller coaster plummets. Every thing goes down, which makes it not mundane but luring.
The show cast is fantastic. The male protagonist is the opposite of a likable person, but in the end I as an audience grow so much empathy and resonance with him. His arrogance and aggression is supported by his wittiness and sophistication. Besides him, all the main characters in the show, I believe, are multilayered and own their character curves.
My conclusion is I want to know more about each character, their lives, their adventures, and their struggles and fights with monsters that live among us, or are ourselves.

Blood, limbs torn apart, eyeballs popping out, men's screaming, monstrous angel, faith, all Cthulhu-sorta elements mingled in an enjoyable and fast-paced short film. I can turn my brain off and on simultaneously while watching. It is the best because it delivers. You start "to realize we don't really know what this world is made of". If you believe it's about aesthetics of violence, sit tight for its breathtaking tense and relief. If you believe it has realistic concerns. The Nazi occult then can be other forms of violence and freneticism we are seeing nowadays. The house of faith can be another projection of solidarity and sacrifice. Overall, it showcases the spirit of Love, Death, and Robot, pinpointed and critical, not just some meaningless word salad or mediocre storyline.
