This is probably one out of like 2 movies I've seen where tourists visit a foreign country and become trapped in the dangerous environment surrounding them.
This time it's about Owen Wilson as Jack Dwyer and Pierce Brosnan as Hammond. Jack visits Southeast Asia to make the waters fresh and he's with his wife (Lake Bell) and two daughters.
Hammond meets Dwyer after arriving in the country and they are able to settle down as time goes by. But the next morning, Jack goes out looking for a newspaper when out of nowhere, a bunch of rebellions start attacking and killing law enforcement officers.
This is where the movie becomes a very tense thrill ride that has you at the edge of your seat. Jack runs to protect his family while Hammond kills off the rebels as best he can.
You can't go wrong with this film, you should definitely go and watch it.

I've seen Jesse Eisenberg before, he definitely has that familiar face even though I have hardly watched any of his other movies. He stars in American Ultra alongside Kristen Stewart.
Eisenberg and Stewart's characters are in a relationship and live a mundane existence when unbeknownst to them, Eisenberg is a government agent. His name is Mike Howell, and he is attacked by two men while trying to eat his ramen noodles.
This incident activates his inner badass and he turns into a killing machine, just like Jason Bourne. The movie is not an absolute masterpiece, it does have it's flaws, but I would still recommend it to any fans of the spy action film genre.

It's nice to see Guy Pearce after all these years. I have shown a lot of interest in the criminal lifestyle and what prison life can be like. Honestly thought this was gonna be a boring movie but after seeing it, I was very intrigued.
The story follows a juvenile (Vincent Miller) who killed someone and he gets transferred to adult jail where he exhibits violent behaviors. Now a man, he is taken under the wing of Warren Murfett (Pearce) and he is told to kill a man named Mark Shepard (Cosmo Jarvis).
The two inmates form a bond and this is meant to leave the audience at the edge of their seats wondering what the outcome of the movie will be.
Australians seem to have a great talent for making movies and with Guy Pearce starring in this film, makes it even better.
