I'm not into period pieces. I was never into "the crown" or "downton Abbey." I love Olivia Coleman (she literally my favourite actor) and Meggie smith is brilliant. I love British television more than American (I'm Canadian). However, Carrie Coon is a masterpiece. Christine baranski was pretty much made for this role. I find this show relevant to today's society. Old money runs the world. This is what's going on to this day. Deceit, manipulation, money, money, money.

I'm enjoying it. It's entertaining enough. I'm only on season 1 episode 3 so I'm not sure how this will unfold but I can't love Carrie Coon enough. I loved her in the white lotus. I had never seen her in anything before white lotus. She was the draw that brought me to this show. She does not disappoint. I hope to see more of her.

I listened to an interview with Seth Rogan on Dax Shepards podcast before I started watching it. I was looking forward to the series, but this episode is an absolute masterpiece. I'm not going to say it's "classic" Seth Rogan... but it's very Seth Rogan/ Evan Goldberg in every possible good way. Oners seem to be the new trend among filmmaking these days. This episode was so chaotic, hilarious, and intriguing. Im sever adhd so I always need to move or do something... I couldn't take my eyes off it. All the actors were perfect. I didn't give it a 10 but a 9 only because my anxiety was peaked the entire time. But in a hilarious way. Loved it. I don't write reviews, but this deserves one. Proud Canadian (Vancouver Canadian) love seeing a homegrown boy killing it. Evan and Seth (yeah I'm on one named basis) have grown so much and I love seeing it. Superbad was my movie back in the day. I just love seeing their friendship and partnership progress.

I give this is a solid 8. It was surprisingly emotional, well written and beautiful. The acting and writing was phenomenal. The main character is a very "Jodie comer/ Kiera knightly" vibes. It was real and not forced at all. I loved that it was Canadian but felt well produced.

I have an amazing husband. I recently lost my soul dog and this movie makes me want to cherish everything. It's one of my new favourite movies. I can't say anything bad about it. I just need a hug. If you're struggling with life and loss, watch this. Hug your loved ones. You never know when the last day will be.

I don't ever write reviews, but this is worthy. Watch this movie.
