There's no doubt this film is a masterclass in storytelling, acting, and filmmaking as a whole. The pacing never falters, the characters evolve with depth, and the technical execution - from the score to the cinematography - is flawless. Al Pacino's rise as Michael is gripping to watch, and Brando delivers one of those performances that stick with cinema forever.
But here's where I differ from most: while I admire the craft, I didn't feel as strong of an emotional connection as many others seem to. Outside of Pacino's presence, the characters didn't fully move me. I respected them more than I cared for them. And because of that, I can't bring myself to call it a "perfect 10."
So, while The Godfather is undeniably brilliant and deserves its reputation, my personal score lands at an 9/10 - a recognition of its greatness, but also an honest reflection of how it resonated with me.

Watching Blade Runner for the first time was more of an interesting experience than an impactful one (yeah, we all should've seen this back in the 80's, but I wasn't even born yet). So, assuming we're in 1982, the futuristic setting is undoubtedly the highlight: visionary for its time, with aesthetics and cinematography that still feel influential today. There are moments toward the end that carry more weight and give the film a stronger finish.
However, the road to get there isn't always easy. The pacing drags in the middle, and the story isn't very clear if you're not already familiar with the book or the universe behind it. That creates a certain distance, as if the film never fully pulls you into its world. On top of that, the audio mix in the original version I watched felt unbalanced, which affected the experience.
Overall, it's a film with undeniable visual and conceptual value, but one that didn't leave me with a lasting impression beyond a few standout moments. I respect its historical importance and what it represented at the time, though personally it didn't quite capture me completely. So, I'll give it a 7/10.

Weapons caught me off guard in a good way. The story feels fresh and different - it's not your typical horror flick. The way the events unfold, showing different perspectives, keeps you curious and guessing for most of the movie.
Visually, it's stunning. Some shots are so well-composed that you just want to pause and take them in. The cinematography really nails the creepy, tense vibe, and the soundtrack complements it perfectly - from the opening song that immediately sets an uneasy tone, to the closing track that leaves you thinking about the movie long after the credits roll.
That said, the movie has its ups and downs. There are several moments scattered throughout the middle where the pacing slows and the story loses a bit of momentum. These mini-bumps make some parts feel longer than they need to be. But just when you're worried it might plateau, the ending hits hard. The final scenes are intense and gripping, leaving you on the edge of your seat... and honestly, wishing it had gone a bit further.
Overall, it's a cool, stylish horror that's fun to watch, even if it stumbles a few times along the way. Definitely worth a watch, but don't expect a perfect ride from start to finish.
