Very stupid but very entertaining more of a Freddy movie than a Jason movie since Freddy gets most of the screen time which is fine cause I like Freddy more than Jason since I like when my horror killers have personality than a silent stalker but that just me also a member of destiny child calls Freddy a homophobic slur so there that.
Way to ruin one of my favorite Disney animated films. Alice in Wonderland by Tim Button is a bland and uncanny remake of the 1950s animated classic, and it's bad because how do you remake a movie that doesn't really have a story? The story is that she falls down the rabbit hole, explores Wonderland, and then goes home, but in this remake, they include a plot of a prophecy of slaying a dragon, which is weird to say the least.
The performances are fine, the standout being Johnny Depp as the mad hatter, but other than that, they're just okay with them either overacting or underacting. Also, this film is way darker than the original, with floating heads, a decapitation, and an eyeball stab that is so kind of violent for a Disney movie.
The set design is good, with Wonderland feeling like a place that people live in and that Tim Burton feels to it with optical illusions and trippy architecture, which is pretty close to what the original felt like, but Wonderland is just too dark with its lighting being very under saturated and dim, which is not okay for a place that is supposed to be unusual and colorful.
Overall, Alice in Wonderland is another bad Disney live-action remake, with it being a CGI mess, being uncanny, and not even being close to the animated cult classic. You will definitely want to find a way out of this rabbit hole.
