A riveting gangster action adventurous drama series treated through a compelling narrative and epic performances.
The plot of the story revolves around 5 small town colony boys from Thiruvanchipuram resorting to illegal business/syndicates in thirst for honour and power and the extraordinary events that unfolds through their life forms the base for the web series.
Krishand & Rahul has drafted the screenplay so brilliantly that the story that could have deviated into a slow paced documentary drama was elevated to a mockumentary with wholesome package of emotions, revenge, brotherhood, action, revenge, betrayal, romance & nostalgic events covered in dark humour and incredible background scores making it an icing on the cake sustaining the filmmakers signature template underneath. Krishand compared to his previous outings has incorporated commercial elements into the story to appeal a larger audience through the story. He has also blended the personal, cultural, social & political dimensions of the 4.5 gang through interesting events from their childhood to adulthood through a sensational narration. The best part of the web series is that Krishand will pull you into the story loop travelling with the emotions and adventures of the 4.5 gang.
Hats off to the casting director Sanup Padaveedan for assembling the best perfomers who have dealt the Trivandrum slang so naturally. Sanju, Rahul Rajagopal, Vishnu Agasthya, Sreenath Babu & Anoop Mohandas are the real showstealers of the story and nailed it with their impeccable performances. Niranj, Darshana, Prashant, Sachin, Shambhu,Rani Indrayani, Sai Gayathri, Hakimsha & Fahim gave incredible delivery. The veterans gang including Indrans,Jagadeesh & Vijayaraghavan excelled in their character performances.
Kudos to behind the screen talents especially the DOP Vishnu Prabhakar, editor Sasikumar,Music & scores by Sooraj/Varkey, Art director Hamza, Makeup man Arshad Varkala & colorist Arjun for their effortless contributions.
A must watch web series that deserves a binge watch on a single go promising a quality content.

A fun watchable entertainer of a man in zen reality diluted in humour, improptu dialogues and over the top performances.
The plot of the story takes us through the life of a handsome young man lost amidst reality and dreamworld on how he gets hold of his life, his enigmatic relationship and the chaos in the backdrop forms the crux of the story.
Althaf has pulled off a light humourous entertainer in his unique style of presentation. The template mixed with absurd humour and eccentric performances that began well got a disruption when the story took an alternate route midway creating confusion but safely landed back to the main track. The characters that come across the heroes life is metaphorised to a fairytale reminding us about the angels and demons who drives our life and how we chose them precisely derives a peaceful ending.
Good performance by Fahadh Faasil moving through character layers carrying emotions on right wavelength. Kalyani has given a cute performance in the movie. Revathy has given a subtle performance of the character with extreme mood swings. Incredible performance by Lal who controls the direction of the story through his subtle performances especially the humour timings and dialogues. Good performance from Anuraj, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Vinay Fort, Suresh Krishna, Sudhir Karamana & Gopu Kesav.
Stunning visuals by Jinto George trimmed into a fun riot by Nidhin Raj Arol. Good music & BGM's by Justin Varghese that went well with the eccentric narrative, gentle sound design by Nixon - Sinoy and cute colourful backdrops by Ashwini Kale & Ouseph John.
A typical Althaf Salim quirkiness that will keep you entertained you if you love craziness and absurd logics.

A fantasy action adventure thriller showing the battle within the darker sides of the world and their thirst for power.
The story takes us through the lives of 3 urban junkies stalking a mysterious girl who moved nextdoor and the strange events that unfolds in their life when they closely follow her forms the base of the story.
Dominic Arun & Santhy Balachandran has created a new adventurous doorway to Malayalam Cinema through this movie. Hats off to Dominic Arun who showed the patience and grit to wait so long for bringing a phenomenal cinema to Malayalam. Good screenplay laying backdrop for the story to settle in the first half but slips midway and gains momentum towards the latter half with insane action sequences. Some cameo appearances passed through the screen showing no clue of their presence which might hopefully fill the dots in the upcoming sagas.
Mind-blowing performance by Kalyani Priyadarshan, the way she has carried Chandra is dashing, the way she holds her eyes, the attitude, absolutely brilliant performance. Kudos to the Costumers Melwy, Archana and the Makeup team for bringing the ferocious Chandra onto the Big screen. Impressive performances from Naslen, Arun Kurian & special shoutout to Chandu Salim kumar who just lived the character brilliantly with the timely dialogues and facial gestures reminding of his father's epic performances. Startling performance by Sandy with his impressive dialogue delivery modulation & attitude. Good performance from Vijayaraghavan, Sarath Sabha, Sam Mohan & Nishant Sagar.
Outstanding frames by Nimish Ravi creating a visual fantasy world by using the precise lens and lighting effortlessly finetuned by the young editor Chaman Chakko. Incredible background scores by Jakes that stands throughout the movie supported with good sound design by Dawn Vincent/Rajakrishnan. Good settings by Vinesh Banglan & Jithu Sebastian that sustained the mood of the urbanscape and the dark world. Hats off to Yannick Ben & team for the exceptional action sequences. Big hugs to DQ & Wayfarer Films for backing this vision and pulling it off in a technically superior quality.
A must watch experience in cinema hall to witness a new world just reminding us that it's just a peak above the ocean.
