This is my favourite episode of Act I. I know a lot people will pick episode 3 (which was also phenomenal), but this episode just took the cake for me. I loved how different themes were tied together in this episode.

I'm calling it now, Viktor is now one of my favourite characters and could be a standout for this season. I won't include spoilers in this review, but wow. What a character arc.

This show does an amazing job at depicting chaos with art, at using fabulous music soundtracks that make it even more epic, and the animation is somehow even better than season 1. Did not disappoint at all. Masterpiece.

This show has set an all time new bar for animation, extremely impressive. The music choices are also always phenomenal and appropriate. The story telling continues to be top tier, and I'd go as far to say as this is a masterpiece of its own right. Emotional, dramatic, and a perfect foundation for the rest of the season.

I know some people have said they didn't like the 'music video' aspect of it (which was only for a few scenes), but I personally love that. It's wonderful artistry and creativity, and I love how this show uses multiple formats to tell its story. Very creative with alternating art forms too. 10/10.

Anyone who calls this slow was not watching the same episode. This episode was jam packed with action; cinematically gorgeous and a huge step forward with the plot. The way a certain scene was done (hint: bronze fury), was brilliant and everything that I hoped for. The stage is now set for episode 8 (the finale!!) and also season 3. Pacing of this episode was 10/10, very well written dialogue between certain characters, and even development in Aemond's character at the end which I won't spoil. Overall, very well written and produced...this and episode 4 are the stands outs of the season to me. Can't wait for the finale!
