As a 20 year old african american man, I felt a deep connection to this show, it definitely made me tear up a lot, we don't get to see much representation of black love these days especially on such a large platform like netflix. Shows like summer i turned pretty and maxton hall did not resonate with me at all. Anyway I enjoyed this show so much I finished it in within 1 day and felt the need to leave a review. Great acting, and the music playlist in this show??? 100/100 all songs i have on my spotify playlists. I went through similar struggles back in high school and I also had to break up due to a long distance relationship and college so this show struck me to the core. I highly recommend you watch this show.

I've never cried so much and laughed so much or cringed so much from a tv show. Everything about this show was just perfect. 10/10. This is what I mean when I say I want a sentimental love reality series, we are tired of the cliche hot singles meet on a island and fall in love. We need more of this meeting with no digitals, striving to meet each other around the city and sending each other letters to meet, waiting for each other i've never felt my heart shake so much in a show to the point i had to pause and breathe several times. But this show definitely delivered.😭😭😭😭 i reccommend this show 1000% i got so much terrace house vibes from this show, does anyone remember terrace house? Anyway the groups dynamic was spectacular, i could feel how they fell in love, or when they were rejected, and the views of the french city of Nice?? BEAUTIFULL face-red-heart-shape even the hosts were great, especially those 2 comedians they were amazing. I have huge respect for the japanese, they're very polite and honest of their feelings, i only just wish they were more expressive so we could've avoided all of the unnecessary heartbreak in the show. I hope they do more seasons of this show, and maybe do it in a different city with a whole new cast.

Best TV show I've watched on Netflix in 2024. It was everything a thriller series. Amazing plot twists, suspense, shocking discoveries, fantastic screenplay. If you're contemplating about watching this, please just watch it. The show does come across as slightly left wing but it makes up for it by showing the cons of both extremities. I related a lot to this show, not just as a mixed raced man. So I understand how some white people might not enjoy this show but trust me the show is so good you'll forget about all the contextual political nuances surrounding it. Anyway black,white, Latino, Asian, man or woman it's for everyone to watch and enjoy.

I'm a busy man with business but This show was so bingeable I too a day off and finished it in 1 day too bad it's a limited series so there won't be a season 2

Colman Domingo was an excellent actor in this series he executed the show and did justice to the character with pure finesse. He really made you connect with Muncie Daniels. I hope Colman wins another Emmy for this show because he definitely deserves it.
