I honestly don't get the hate around Season 2. For me, it was even better than the first season. Some episodes honestly gave me Game of Thrones vibes, especially S2E2.
I haven't played the game, so I'm only judging it as a TV show and from that perspective there's nothing wrong with the plot. The storytelling is solid, and the world-building is just gripping. And of course Pedro Pascal absolutely kills it. His acting brings so much depth and emotion to the character.
The pacing might not be for everyone since a couple of episodes feel more like filler but overall it's a worth watching series.

I started watching Alice in Borderland because so many people were calling it underrated and better than Squid Game. Honestly, the first season didn't impress me that much. Some of the CGI looked cheap and the story felt a bit unrealistic.
Season two started off stronger. Up until around the fourth episode it really felt like the show had leveled up. The games were smarter.
But then just like season one, it slipped back into the same issues. The story started feeling predictable again and the action scenes were like a Bollywood action movie.
However, the ending twist was actually pretty smart.

This might be the most unrealistic TV show I've ever watched. The whole plot feels like it's stretched way too thin what could've easily been told in a 2-hour movie is dragged across multiple episodes. The acting is weird. The story is a nonsense. I kept waiting for it to get better or at least make sense but it never really did. Seeing an 8/10 rating on IMDb makes me wonder if I watched the same show as everyone else.
