This movie far exceeded my expectations, given it's not a Disney Pixar, Dreamworks etc. It was absolutely brilliant and enjoyed by both children and adults. The story was exciting and heartwarming, and the animation beautiful. The voice actors were absolutely fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed Rob Beckett's Enzo. We loved it.

Elemental is a beautiful movie, in both the story and the animation itself. The movie is so much more than a forbidden love story (although I do love the love story between Wade and Ember!). The fire people emigrated to Elemental City in search of 'the American dream' or a better life for their family. Ember was born in Elemental City to her immigrant parents and the story explores the challenges of fitting in to a different culture and particularly how difficult it can be for the children of immigrants who are caught in the middle of two cultures. The voice acting is absolutely fantastic and brings the story to life so fantastically. The music really sets the movie alive. It's just such a brilliant movie that will appeal to the whole family.

This is a great family movie voiced by a brilliant all-star cast. It has lots of original catchy songs which really make the movie. It's a really heartwarming story of a sea crab and a land crab who fall in love, much to the initial disapproval of their friends and families due to them being on different sides. There's much more to the film than that though, and it's very funny in parts with lots of humour for both the children and the parents The land crabs are from Jersey Shore, where the movie is set, and the sea crabs are the tourists who descend upon Jersey Shore every summer much to the disgust of the land crab residents. The land crabs are so stereotypically "Jersey Shore", which makes it very entertaining. It's just a really great family movie that we've watched multiple times this summer.
