There were lots of happenings in this episode that really need a little more time in order to be fleshed out completely. I like the first 20 minutes, but all the way from the awkward mini challenge down to the anticlimatic elimination, I found the remaining of the episode really underwhelming.
I wish, it's a design challenge instead of a pageant parody so we could get to know these queens further. You know, this will also help them, especially the international queens to adjust. For sure, the entire episode will not be as congested as this.
Moreover, sound editing is so choppy. You can obviously hear Mama Pao's critiques and even the commentaries from our queens being poorly trimmed. Ugh. It's just frustrating. Nevertheless, it's a great runway presentation from our queens.

Smile 2 delivers what Parker Finn has promised: a straight-up debauchery, backed with over the top goofs! Unfortunately, sequel only served that aspect in the third act. The first 70 minutes were too dull and shallow, despite the main character's interesting stance about herself and her popstar persona.
Also, it suffered so much from poor marketing where every scene from the teaser and trailer were as complete as they were in the film. If only Paramount could have lessen the number of scenes to be revealed in the promo, then the 70% of the film might have worked better. Nevertheless, they completely redeemed themselves with that bonkers conclusion! It was fun and brutal!

Goodness gracious. My tummy hurts so bad for laughing so hard! Every single joke from Angel, John, Tita, Khianna, Maxie, and Bench is such a hit! Even the Safe Queens could be considered High, if we will adapt the Western standards. Nevertheless, the rightful winner won this challenge while the rightful loser sashayed. Even the drama before the challenge looks good. I guess the production did such a great job in handling a storyline that does not look forced nor inorganic. Cough cough, Global All Stars.
So far, this episode set the bar so high. Let's see if the remaining parts of the season will live up or succumb to it.
