Let's be honest, most people didn't like the inclusive changes, not a single person said "Wow, how cool black Gordon looks" or "How good Harley Quinn is", everyone says something along the lines of "I don't care, I don't look at it", but then everyone admits that the characters somehow come out boring or annoying, not real. Those people who changed the characters for some reason (they can't create anything of their own) as usual fell face in the mud, because having changed the coloring of the object, they don't know how to add life, personality and interest to it at all.
Gordon, an ardent opponent of corruption, who wants to make his city better and sees Batman and Mayor as the problem (and also supports Harvey Dent) has turned into a black blank, who stands motionless and emotionless in the frame, and in every scene he is like a grandfather tormented by everything going on around him. He is not interested in this city, not interested in the police. The authors have completely forgotten that changing the color and gender of the character he does not remain the same, he needs to be filled in the same way as Gordon was filled in all other animated series and games.
The fact remains that the original origins of characters on the background of these look many times more interesting, elaborate and cute. And adherents of inclusiveness as usual instead of creating their own characters and pictures, substitute in them good images for themselves, and it turns out as always lousy.
The series is and has much to praise for, but does it deserve it? Rather, it deserved the money of the investors who insisted on a "modern color palette."

This series can be forgiven for many ridiculous things, because apparently it did not strive to take a rating higher than 7. The main subject of the dispute is Harley Quinn.
Harley is a very beloved person by various "authors", from whom you can squeeze a lot of agenda, and in this series you can collect "bingo".
And because of this, she is terrible in everything. They wanted to make Harley Quinn, but forgot about who Harley Quinn really is. Without the Joker, without madness, without a clear backstory that makes her who she is - the thrown image of a clown version of Batman (with his butler) would rather suit a third-rate comedy. And where is the drama? A psychologist who is unable to change the worldview of bad people begins to kidnap them. The very personification of complexes.
Okay, there's not much fun here, instead of creating their own successful fat, dark and unconventional characters, DC starts taking successful ones and replacing them with second-rate, undeveloped ones. This always leads to one thing - disappointment and low ratings, without exception. It's hard to judge more objectively when a series deliberately pushes inclusivity at the expense of quality.
