So excited about this show. Hard to follow as an Europeans with names and all the descriptions.
The games are even more complex, straight from the start, crazy. I wonder if it's not even too complex and chaotic for the show to be appreciated, but it's so nice to have a show that finally treats its audience with respect.
The web of alliances and betrayals that unfolds directly from the start of the season creates a psychological thriller that keeps viewers constantly guessing about what's going on.
What makes it particularly compelling is how the show refuses to dumb down its content, instead trusting that audiences are intelligent enough to keep up with the multi-layered strategies and ever-shifting power dynamics. Very cool.

Could have been the perfect masterpiece of a modern inception-like emotional, with a mix of HER, AI romance, and a hint of Westworld.
It's too bad the actress playing Brandy, Issa Rae, is catastrophic. She acted lost and amateur-like and had the same "awkward" stance all episode long. The romance part was so accelerated that I fail to understand how anyone could appreciate it as it should have been.
I'm still wondering what do the enjoyers of the episode see, they consider this good acting perhaps?
Also, let's discuss the premise. I see how, from a distance, the premise is amazing. But in reality, what the heck is this about?
What's the goal, interest, value or even fun in REMAKING the SAME MOVIE, with everything similar (lines, characters, black & white), and on any divergence: "oh no narrative anomaly". That's the weirdest part of the episode. What's the point? Might as well use a photoshop/crop tool to replace the original actor by another, if the goal is only that. The fact that the "AI" characters don't even see the difference makes the entire thing completely pointless.
Remaking the movie with variability and with the goal of changing the plot/story would have been actually interesting. I'm baffled they haven't went for it, IT MAKES NO SENSE.

I waited for the Director's Cut of "Napoleon" with high hopes, but holy crap, what a letdown. This movie is so bad it's almost impressive. It feels like Ridley Scott just phoned it in and let an AI write the script. I feel bad for every actor & employees involved.
Magnificent visuals, awful movie.
The characters are about as deep as a puddle, and the story? What story? It's just a bunch of stuff happening with no real point. Sure, the battles look cool and the costumes are fancy, but that's like putting lipstick on a pig. As a huge Napoleon story addict, I almost fell alseep. This movie made me feel bad. The crowing? Comes out of nowhere, not explained. The battles? Simplified as hell, you don't even know why France is going to war. No mentions of the first seven coalition of Royal families. In a 3h30 movie, not once? What the heck?
The worst part is how hollow everything feels. It's like Scott forgot how to build a world or create atmosphere. And don't get me started on the script - it's a mess. No interesting dialogue, no insights into Napoleon or his time. Just... nothing.
Honestly, this doesn't even deserve a 3/10. It's that bad. It's like they took a fascinating historical figure and made the most boring, soulless movie possible. I don't understand all the review above 4/10, we haven't seen the same thing, it can't be.
