The overall cast delivered convincing performances. The character Borhan, played by Nas-T, came across as somewhat average and less striking compared to the others, although his acting still played a vital role in the story. The focus on the five main characters was well-executed, with each given a clear and meaningful role in the narrative.
The plot, while somewhat predictable in parts, managed to retain its appeal. The storyline was structured and cohesive, allowing the audience to remain engaged despite anticipating some of the twists. Still, there were a few plot holes and some editing choices that felt a bit off.
The action sequences, however, felt slightly excessive, with three distinct battle phases that bordered on repetitive. The second battle, in particular, began to feel tiring, but~ though the final act slowed its pacing just enough to allow viewers to re-engage and enjoy the conclusion.
From a technical standpoint, the CGI was not particularly polished, but it wasn't overly distracting, as it appeared in less significant scenes. The product placement-particularly of the Wanda brand-felt somewhat excessive, appearing in three scenes and slightly pulling focus away from the story.
As a popcorn movie, especially for fans of local action films or those familiar with the "Lelaki Kluang," this is definitely one to watch. It deserves an 8/10 for being entertaining, satisfying, and even amusing at times. However, from a more critical cinematic perspective, the film scores closer to a 6/10, as its visual storytelling lacks the depth and refinement needed to truly stand out-especially for new audiences.
Still, it's a film worth watching and stands out among many current local productions.

I can't say this was completely bad or entirely uncanny as an AI-driven animation. There's still some human involvement for sure, like the voice acting, which definitely helps keep it within the "anime" as an anime, that part worked in its favor.
Visually though, even if you watch it with audio, it honestly vbery tiring. The acting is weak-clearly due to the rotoscoping process using AI, they really should've hired actual actors for better source performance. The animation itself looks cheap, and to be blunt, it feels like something you could make on a social media platform with current tools. Sorry to say there's no professional polish here, maybe because they dont want to.
From a public or casual viewer's perspective, it might be seen as just "okay," but from a professional standpoint, it doesn't even reach the level of experimental animation.
As for the storytelling-it nearly put me to sleep. Nothing stood out. The characters had no real moments to show off their charisma, and there was nothing iconic or memorable about any of them.

The plot can be said to be the best aspect of this film.
Looking at the characters, however - overredundance!
Characters like Mak Ta, Pak Lee, and Pak Wana were already sufficient to make this film good, because many of the other characters existed without contributing anything meaningful to the storyline. As a result, the quality of the narrative is disappointing.
There are good shots, but they don't serve the tone or flow of the film meaningfully.
When it comes to the name Dain Said, my benchmark is Bunohan. For this film, it's just a name - this time, the film lacks maturity and doesn't allow the story to unfold naturally. Instead, it relies heavily on dialogue. The dialogue itself often feels awkward, and the charisma of the characters is hard to appreciate, even though the cast is solid.
The practical effects in the film are already good, but the addition of special effects makes the film look cheap.
The concept of "Angin" (Wind) in the film is a good one if explored in depth - it could serve as a philosophy for the narrative journey. But in this film, it merely serves as an opener, with no satisfying conclusion.
The film has potential, but this time, the name Dain Said is just a name.
From 4 stars, because of Dain Said name, for this one, down to 3.
