I honestly never thought a Korean series from 2025 would end up being the best I've ever seen, but here we are. The moment I found out that the same director who made My Mister was also the director of this series, I wasn't as surprised anymore. Kim Won Suk is just on another level when it comes to K-dramas. He has this incredible ability to create such raw, real worlds that feel so genuine, without falling into those typical K-drama clichés that we all know too well. He isn't shy on showing the emotionally brutal scenes, he knows that's exactly how life is, it breaks you emotionally with no warning nor remorse whatsoever.

And then there's IU. She was absolutely phenomenal in this. I swear, this is her best performance career performance and that says a lot! She's already my favorite Korean actress, but after seeing this, I'm even more certain of it.

I've been waiting for this series for almost two years, and now that I've finally seen it, it still feels so surreal. I don't think I was ready for how much it would affect me. There were definitely tears.. I couldn't hold it together at times no matter how hard I tried. And that final two-minute scene? It was so weird because I didn't know whether to be happy or sad and then tears started falling from my eyes and hence.. it hit me.. I was watching something truly special. It's one of those moments where you realize you're witnessing a masterpiece, and it just feels so pure. This series will mark its place as one of the very rare Korean series that's gonna stick with me for a long long time. I love it with all my heart.
