Seeing this on Hulu was a happy surprise as I liked Barbosa's earlier routines. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this one.
The first few seconds sets the stage as Barbosa comes out when he awkwardly pauses between greeting the audience and starting his bit.
His flow was all over the place. It truly sounded like someone who was told they were funny a few times and ran with it.
I could tell he changed his material to be more "controversial" but it came off as ragebait and heavy handed. The jokes were tired and you've heard them all before: "I don't like girls who wear makeup because they look so different" "I don't like girls with trust issues because I ain't got time for that" It really felt like he lost his voice in this one.
Overall, boring and nothing special.
