Episode 2 continues delivering the series' signature humor, with plenty of funny scenes and the usual chaotic energy from Iori and the gang. This episode also introduces Hiori's sister, which adds some family dynamics and gives a bit more depth to the story. While the focus remains mostly on comedy, these subtle character moments help to flesh out the relationships a little more. The interactions feel natural and add context without slowing down the pacing. Overall, it's a well-paced episode that balances laughs with some light development, making it enjoyable to watch from start to finish without losing momentum.

It honestly feels surreal to see Grand Blue back after all these years. Episode 1 didn't waste any time - it jumped straight back into the insanity, and I mean that in the best possible way. The jokes still hit, the facial expressions are just as ridiculous, and the energy is exactly what I missed from this series.

I was a little worried that the comedy wouldn't land after such a long break, but somehow it felt like nothing changed - like the cast picked up right where they left off. It's still immature, over-the-top, and completely self-aware... and that's what makes it so fun.

The animation isn't flashy, but it stays true to Season 1's style. The exaggerated faces and timing still land perfectly, even if the overall visuals are pretty simple. It fits the tone, and honestly, that's all it needs.
