The David Fincher's cinematic masterpiece Seven is one of the classic movies on gruesome murder by a serial killer who has his own theory about the world and the way he reciprocates his thoughts and ideas are very chilling to people but according to him he just wants people to accept the truth. I personally like movies which talk about extreme psychologically twisted personalities , twisted to people who don't very much understand the concept of a suffering world and it's amazing how some of the classics are able to perfectly portray that every crime committed is the by product of a society that is neither perfect nor fair. I won't go into the details of the events but just talk about the characters and essence of the movie The two characters playing detectives in the movie had very polar personalities and off-course William(Morgan Freeman) was playing the more thoughtful , insightful , intuitive , rational then his counter part David(Brad Pitt) who was relatively naive and impulsive but we can't entirely blame him he wasn't working in the law enforcement as long as Somerset who was one of the finest detectives in the precinct as established during the starting of the movie. As the movie continues they both start of share a bond and long after Somerset becomes his mentor as they solve the case and link it to The seven deadly sins in Christianity and a preacher who is about to punish people for these sins. While Somerset tries of understand the mentality with which the killer is committing these crimes David is just impatient and is trying to outsmart the murderer ,to him John Doe was just another freak with a plan and insanity to bestow to people.

As the movie grows it gets more intense and when John Doe deliberately comes to the precinct and surrenders it takes a whole new turn , it gets very interesting because he still hasn't punished for two more sins and everybody was waiting for seven dead people each representing a sin and as they suspected the guy was up-to no good. The movie ends with an amazing twist but we all sort of thought that David just might make a different choice . I would have loved the alternate ending as well because I thought it might turn out to be a revelation for David Mills's character which had so much potential to grow but either way the arc was satisfying. I might have to write whole another answer just to talk about Kevin Spacey's character because it was a very mentally integrated ,refined and grueling character but one of the most iconic roles to go down movie history.

So last but not the least ***"The world is a fine place and worth fighting for"***

The best way to describe this film is that it is essentially a modern-day Hitchcock thriller.

A slow burn, intimate story that suddenly descends into mind games and terror.

Fantastic costume design, crazy cool choreography that, combined with the killer groovy '60s soundtrack, makes you want to get up and cut a rug Daddy O!

The crème de la crème of this film, hands down, is the camera work, especially combined with visual effects, and editing. The story takes place simultaneously in the '60s and the present day, executed in a very energetic, stylish fashion. The camera draws you effortlessly into the world. Some scenes are simply jaw-dropping, leaving you wondering how they created this movie magic.

Edgar Wright dishes up his usual witty, rapid-fire dialog with a menagerie of everyday characters.

At times, the dialogue can be a little too rapid.

The sound design is wild and crazy dizzying fun however at times if too busy when a lot of dialogue is also in the mix, making it difficult to catch everything they are saying especially with the multiple accents.

Anya Taylor-Joy once again is mesmerizing, you just can't keep your eyes off of her, and you just keep wanting more. Thomasin McKenzie does a fantastic job of going through the wide range of emotions that her character must evolve through. Matt Smith is suave and charming, while Terrance Stamp and Diana Rigg bring gravitas to the project, taking all the performances to the next level. The rest of the supporting cast are very natural and breathe life into the world.

It may take a little patience at first but hang in there, the ride is worth it. This is Quite an entertaining and very uniquely executed thriller.

Oh gosh, what should I say? This series is a true storm. Actually, I have already lost enthusiasm for both MCU and DCEU and I need something new. To say that The Boys series is also a superhero series but is presented from a new perspective. I saw this vision in Gen V also. If I had to choose between The Boys season 1 and Gen V season 1, I would choose Gen V, because it is so classy! From the back stories of the characters to its original story, from action to thriller, from sex to suspense and from powers to madness everything is there in it.

What should I say about the story, the insanity is the same as in The Boys s1 or is a little more than that. The story starts after the events of The Boys s3, from a God U School, which is a school of Supes, where Supes who will emerge in the future are raised, who will go on to become a part of Team 7 and at worst take place of Homelander. But below this school there is a secret facility named WOODS where some of the most powerful and most uncontrollable supes are not only being held but are being experimented upon, and it is here that they are tortured. Marie Monroe, who is a supe, whose powers awakened during her first period, after which she killed her parents. Marie comes to God U with a dream of overcoming her past and becoming a great superhero, she makes friends with some famous supes in school, after running away from school, she goes to a late night pub with them, where Andre one of the famous Sups accidentally harmed a non-supe and Marie uses her powers to save her. Next day she is expelled from school so that the famous supes can be saved from charges. When Marie tries to talk to the principal, one of the famous supes Luke has killed the principal and then he tries to kill Marie, after being confronted by his fellow supes Jorden and Andre he regains consciousness then commits suicide. Vaught tries to suppress the matter and Marie gets free credit for stopping Luke. In meanwhile, all of Luke's friends try to solve the mystery of his mysterious suicide. Whether Marie herself supports them or not, what challenges she has to face in the future for that you will have to watch this show.
