Like Realestate, a time traveling Korean chef is all about the cast. The plot is familiar, the costumes and locations also familiar. Only so much can be done to set this apart, but the cast with Im Yoon-ah as the time traveling chef and Lee Chae-Min as the King have excellent chemistry. The cocky side kick Yoon Seo-ah promises to elevate her role bringing acclaim and laughs. All in all, the initial set up is very good. If you are watching as it comes out, you will be looking forward for each episode, if you are from the future, I can foretell that this is a great rainy weekend watch of all 12 episodes.

I normally don't go for the longer K drama's because they are long and drag. For Eagle Brothers has been engaging, introducing the secondary characters slowly in a fashion you want more of them.. The main Characters are intresting. They will inter weave with the secondary characters in their times of distress building into a true family.

The villain is easy to recognize and fun to hate. Trials and hardships are being set in motion for this new family to come together and overcome. It will be to long to watch in 1 weekend of rain, but a few episodes a night over a few weeks and you will have had a watched an entertaining well acted show.

When the Stars Gossip is a Korean drama that is sharply written. The SciFi is present but not overwhelming. The characters are the focus. If you are reluctant because of the SciFi leaning, do not let you pass this by. SciFi lovers won't be put off either. Nothing flashy is done and when they do go into the effects it is for fun not to over where. This is a ratings sleeper so far I highly recommend this program. They are offering the Korean Romcom with a little spin, frankly I was getting bored but I am looking forward to each episode of When the Stars Gossip. With 16 episodes there will be plenty of twists and turns to keep you wanting more.
