Another great Aussie film i just got out of. Filmed at the old Gold Coast just down the road from me. This film is basically a serial killer film at sea with the added bonus of the villian feeding his victims to sharks. The cast is great but lets start with the baddie Tucker beautifully played in bogan greatness by our own Jai Courtney. As a fellow Aussie and bogan he does us proud. I like how he even offers his captives vegemite sangas even mentioning how they prob won't like it most foreigners. Class. Zephyr the wild free spirit surfer chick is well played and a perfect foil to evil Tucker. Her escapes from him are enthralling. Action and gore aplenty in this one.

I 've just rewatched this one on the small screen after seeing the brother's much better Bring Her Back. But don't get me wrong. This is a solid 10 but i'd give BHB 11 if it was possible. This film is all teen headrush. Authentically acted by a great cast. I could see teen Aussies doing this if they found the hand. I don't believe in the supernatural but this is so realistically done you just go with it. Sophie Wilde the lead is great and other standouts are the possessed boy who plays Riley and to have a adult in the great Miranda Otto. This is the brother's first and youthful outing.
