This film completely drained me. It's exhausting in the worst way, like it just sucks the life out of you with every passing minute.

I genuinely have no clue what the movie is even supposed to be about. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the film - but when you can't hear a single thing the characters are saying, it's not a me problem. The sound was so bad I gave up trying to follow along.

And even if you could hear it, would it matter? Probably not. The story (if there even was one) is buried under 1h 47m of pure boredom. It drags, goes nowhere, and feels like a punishment just sitting through it.

Don't waste your time with this mess. I wish I hadn't.

1/10 - only because IMDb doesn't let me go any lower.

Honestly, I don't get why this has a 6.1 on IMDb. It's better than that. The movie is really entertaining at the start, with some solid race scenes, but it does slow down a bit after the crash. I thought it would focus more on the personal story with a few race scenes, but it's the opposite - mostly racing with some drama sprinkled in.

It's not perfect, and some parts might feel boring for people, but the ending wraps things up nicely. If you're a NASCAR fan, liked F1: The Movie, don't mind 90s-quality filmmaking, or just enjoy racing films, it's definitely worth a watch.

And for fun, imagine a crossover with Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) meeting Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) - probably never happening, but who knows?

It was a mid film. It's not bad at all - maybe even good or great for some - but for me, it didn't fully click. The dog Ben felt useless in the film; he doesn't really help or even listen to Rae's commands. Billy Zane's acting was a little over the top, which made his performance worse for me. On the bright side, Nicole Kidman's Aussie accent here is much better than in Windrider - I didn't even know she was Australian!

Overall, this film isn't really my type, but it could be a great thriller for others.
