I read a lot of reviews criticizing Hwang Minhyun's acting and I was disappointed to see so much hate. Personally, I loved the main leads-they were both amazing actors. The supporting cast was also incredible. The plot was great, and the plot twists blew my mind. I loved the thriller and suspense elements, and there were so many heart-fluttering moments. I found myself smiling from ear to ear, and the emotional scenes had me in tears. I especially appreciated how the main leads weren't toxic and communicated well-no unnecessary drama between them. They were the ultimate green flag!
As for Minhyun's acting, I feel like people didn't understand his character. He was treated so poorly by everyone, including his ex, even his own mother and friends. He ended up believing he had killed his ex, which is incredibly traumatizing. When you go through something like that, it's natural to become emotionally distant and awkward. Minhyun captured this so realistically with raw emotions and expressions. Even when the main leads started dating, that lingering awkwardness felt real-because starting a relationship after trauma isn't easy.
He did such a great job, but I feel like people didn't really understand his character. Give this show a shot-it's genuinely good, and I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Study Group exceeded all my expectations. I thought it would be just another drama filled with fights and bullying, but I was completely wrong. Every moment was packed with humor and entertainment and I found myself thoroughly enjoying it. The action scenes went beyond anything I could have imagined-they were incredible!
The cast did an amazing job, and every actor stood out with their performance. Yoon Gamin, played by Hwang Minhyun, was especially captivating. He embodied the character perfectly-funny, silly, goofy, and undeniably hot during the fight scenes. I loved the anime-like vibe of the show, and the fact that Hwang Minhyun performed all the action sequences himself, including the fire and nunchaku scenes, blew me away. His dedication is truly impressive.
I've seen some comments about the action scenes being forced or unrealistic, and I can't agree. First of all, it's based on a webtoon. Secondly, the plot is absolutely fantastic. And finally, the cast is top-tier. If you haven't watched it yet, give it a shot-you'll love it!
