If you're reading this-I am not a critic. I am not a cinema critic. I am a business owner. And in my company, I move faster than most people. I see things that others cannot see.
So, don't just go by what people are saying. People will always have opinions-some will praise, most will criticize. And we all know one thing about human nature: we rarely appreciate anything new. We resist it. We reject it.
But I see something here. I feel this guy (the actor) has immense talent. And more than that, the story itself has worked. The story came alive on screen. Somewhere, I sense Aamir Khan's influence-perhaps his father was involved. Or maybe, Loveyappa is the Hindi remake of the unique Tamil film Love Today (2022). Whatever the case, this movie deserves appreciation. It deserves to be shared and rewatched.
Why? Because this is our story-the exact story of the digital world.
The phone exchange-a guy and a girl swap phones, revealing their hidden digital lives.
And let's be honest, in a world full of options, haven't we all got our own digital history?
The insecure guy-a character struggling with body image, always feeling less because of his weight.
The deepfake manipulation-someone using technology to deceive, exposing the dark side of our digital reality.
Three different yet interconnected layers of truth.
And yet, just because this movie doesn't have a big star, people are dismissing it. That's unfair. This is a solid story with a strong message. I personally liked it. Maybe you will, maybe you won't-but don't listen to the morons stuck in outdated thinking. The ones who are still trapped in a mass mindset, not ready to accept how human nature actually works.
This movie is a reflection of how we truly think, react, and get fooled. And that's exactly why it deserves a 9/10.
Watch it. Understand it. And maybe, just maybe, you'll see yourself in it.
