I only watched the pilot of this show.
It is a carbon copy of the pilot from an Italian show called "Doc - Nelle tue mani", which itself was loosely inspired by real life events (Look up for "Pierdante Piccioni").
I came with big expectations after watching season one of the original Doc a couple years ago, but I was disappointed with the American re-make.
They kept the same medical stuff but blew it with two key changes that don't work: 1. The villain's origin story. Directly related to the min character's loss of memory in the original show; a pointless, miscast character in the new version.
2. The main character. He was stern but respectful pre-accident and warm and emotionally vibrant post-accident in the original; in the new show, she is arrogant and disrespectful pre-accident and a crybaby without regard for others post accident.
If you enjoyed the premise of the show, I strongly recommend you to pass on the Fox version and go to the Italian one streaming on Prime Video (original language with subtitles), and enjoy all three seasons available now!

This is an instant classic. I knew we were gonna get a good one since Rashida Jones first showed up on screen. This episode is perfectly written, perfectly acted and perfectly directed. Scary as it gets due to the plot's plausibility and the sense of total indefension by the main characters as their life is slowly taken away.
The central issue of this episode - the perverse economics of digital platforms - is as relevant as ever nowadays. I strongly recommend following up this episode with Cory Doctorow's essay about platform "enshittification" in Wired magazine (Google it!) to see the parallels with our real world.

This is a half-baked soap opera with not enough room to fully develop the story and characters, a predictable conclusion and some questionable script choices (e.g. No single redeeming character; maybe because the authors wanted to portray Colombia's elite as selfish and arrogant on purpose?).
Anyways, we really enjoyed the Costeño accent of the series' characters, which is heavy on profanity and regional slang and suits really funny to the cast of mostly white people that generally look very different from true Costeños (most of the actors are Bogotanos or Paisas).
This is yet another example as to why you MUST watch all series on the original language!
My wife is from Cartagena and we enjoyed the series as a challenge of trying to decipher which character had a "true" Costeño accent and who was just forcing it.
