As a new, under-heard of anime, I was rather surprised that these first 2 episodes would deliver so strong, from the plot, sad backstories, tragedy, development, I could envision Clevatess being one of the best releases of 2025. The unexpected depressing backstory of Neruru was the big hammer of this episode, coming from its delivery and impact of this backstory, which was done very well. So far it is doing a great job at keeping a viewer intrigued with its development on the many things introduced to us so far. One thing I would like to see more is good pacing in these next episodes which is already showing well, and I think this anime could be one to talk big about.

Watching this episode's intensity, passion, and astonishing visuals was probably the best moment of my life. I'm kidding but seriously watching this episode with my jaw dropped to the floor at the plot twists and the very high-level animation was beautiful. My favorite part from this episode wasn't about the animation, wasn't about the fights, wasn't about how cool Igris's armor shined, or his wonderful aura, it was actually when Kargalan's sudden realization of who Jinwoo truly is and the command he was constantly hearing. It was like everything was building up super fast and the suspense was killing. It's that feeling you get after watching or seeing something you're like, I can't believe what I have just witnessed, this was it. Two episodes later, the fight Jinwoo vs Baran is no doubt one of the top fights released out of anime lately.
