The woman in this series is pretty much invincible and never held accountable for any of her actions. She's the smartest, strongest and baddest character in the whole series. Everything is catered towards her and there are no consequences for her actions. Everything goes her way all the time. Taron Egarton plays the lead and the psychological twist keep you in suspense. Meanwhile Smolletts character trots around the plot doing whatever she wants whenever she wants and nobody seems to care. She's just the most intelligent corrupted cop to ever exist.

There's people that either love this or hate this and they will thumbs down perfectly accurate reviews because they don't match their opinion when in reality this show is mid. It's not bad and it's not very good either. I like the alien movies. This one is interesting because the aliens are on earth hence the title. Regardless, I expect this review to be "not helpful" because I'm giving you a real opinion and most other reviews are either glazing this show or absolutely hate it when in reality it's not bad. It's just not that good.

They promoted this saying Rotten tomatoes gave 100% and because it was made by the people who did "Barbarians" it's a masterpiece. Where is the hype coming from? I feel like I'm missing something.. the plot is about a 3rd grade class that vanished in the middle of the night.. only one of the children came to school the next day. Once the movie picks up momentum you can pretty much predict how it's going to play out. About 80% of the film is spent waiting for the rest of the characters to catch on. There's a few laughs here and there. I enjoy the comedic aspect mixed with a sense of suspense and horror but don't believe the hype. It's just another horror movie.
