On my block is one of those shows that really sticks with you.

It's mostly very comedic but also is mixed with serious topics and struggles that are very much real and relate to the audience.

The characters have awesome personalities, they're hilarious and relatable which makes the show much more entertaining.

Each episode is something new and unique, and usually focused on their friendship.

Some of the scenes are emotional and it just overall feels very authentic and natural.

I like how it blends light hearted moments with serious topics like gang violence and family struggles. There's just always something to expect.

This show is funny and heartfelt, packed with surprises and just super hooking. Definitely worth watching.

The story follows a cheerleader who's life gets turned upside down when her mom's obsession with her sucess gets out of control.

It is dramatic and intense but in a fun way. And the cheer scenes add some cool energy

As a cheerleader this really resonates with me, especially with the struggle of being in a leadership role and having team struggles.

The jokes are fun, routines / choreographing are very impressive and overall it is just so great!

It's a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, but still shows the pressure of trying to prove yourself. And i personally thought it wasn't very stereotypical but felt very real. I would give it a watch!
