As an introduction for James Gunn's new DCU, this film surpasses all expectations! It's lighthearted with a great cast. David Corenswet is SUPERMAN as he gives a remarkable performance as both Clark Kent and the hero that swings in to save the day. The chemistry between Clark and Lois was amazingly captured with every scene they share together.
Lex is just the biggest hater you'll meet. The way the film shows how far he's willing to go to reach his goal was amazing to see in live action. You can feel the hatred and emotions through the screen as he despises Superman with every cell in his body.
This movie felt like a day in the life of Superman with him facing off against several antagonists with strong themes being shown throughout the story. DC may actually be back! It's so good seeing supes saving people and kids cheering for him!

Just to be clear, this movie wasn't horrible, just possibly the worst in the Jurassic Saga. Dialogues in certain scenes were just flat or downright bad. Cgi and just the overall look of the movie was amazing, but that couldn't save it for me. Just felt like a money grab in the end as the movies before this have done really well in the box office. Certain characters seeming to have some unbelievable plot armor while others met their demise in really stupid ways. Dinosaurs were cool, just needed more screen time. Never felt any attachment to any characters. So many plot holes and unresolved issues which just made the movie seem pointless in the end. Stakes barely felt high throughout the story. But there are a few good scenes that draws it over the line.
Pros- Was a refreshing approach to a black centered show about a romance story between teens. Deals with a few deep themes that teens and adults in general struggle with which was a good direction to go. Liked how realistic certain things were, especially how badly relationship problems were dealt with. The father "Eric" was truly the mvp of the show, showing the importance of having a fatherly figure that's understanding and supporting. Was great to see so many supporting people. Some viewers might dislike "Keisha's" decisions but the show does well in giving different perspectives while allowing you to understand all sides and empathize with each character. Music was also good.
Cons- A few cringeworthy moments, with a bit of inconsistency with the writing at times and repetitiveness. The plot seemed to move a bit too fast at times, causing certain events to seem a bit rushed. Certain characters seemed to have deserved a bit more consequences for their actions as well. A few really unnecessary scenes "if you know, you know"
But overall a fun watch and with the absence of drugs etc, felt refreshing for a black oriented show! P. S- ensure you're able to watch based on the rating.
